Welcome to the Kelowna Liedertafel Society

President - Susie Kaul

Who We Are

We are a mixed gender choir from Kelowna, British Columbia. Our members include expatriots from Germany, Austria, England, Holland, Switzerland and, of course, Canada!

Although many of our songs - or 'Lieder' - are in German we sing in English as well.
We love Oktoberfest songs in the Fall, Christmas songs and carols in the festive season and the songs celebrating many European countries in the 'travelling season'.

We can offer Members:

Singing under the direction of a professional conductor and pianist.
A Fundraiser Special at the Canadian German Harmonie Club
A Spring Picnic in the Park or the German Club Garden with the Choir Members and Families.
Singing in Retirement Homes and other Facilities.
A Christmas Concert at the Christ Lutheran Church - Gordon Drive, Kelowna.
A Choir Christmas Party in the German Club Kaffestübe.
Many new Friends & great Cameraderie.

We hold choir practice every Tuesday at 7:00 pm. in the Harmonie Hall of the Canadian-German Harmonie Club at 1696 Cary Road, Kelowna

We also offer non-singing or 'passive' membership at a reduced fee which includes voting and Board election rights and participation in discounts on travel and accomodation to events.
